Loyola returns only three players and zero starters from last season’s fifth place finish in the standings (14-16, 10-8 MVC). First year head coach Kate Achter was hired back in July after serving as an assistant at Xavier and will look to round out the roster with four freshman and three transfers. Sophomore Brandi Segars is the leading returning scorer from last year’s group, averaging 2.0 points per game during 29 contests last season. Junior Katie Salmon (1.0 points, 1.1 rebounds) and sophomore Citiana Negatu (0.6 points) will also return to the Ramblers this winter and look to lead all the newcomers on the roster.
