Since beating #16 DePaul a couple of weeks ago, Loyola has reeled off four more consecutive road wins. Today they beat SIU in overtime down in Carbondale, and are now the only undefeated team team in league play at 3-0.

Glad to see that they were able to pull out the victory in overtime. They should have won the game in regulation, but the shot clock was not turned off after a Loyola shot hit the rim and the buzzer went off just before a follow up shot was put in with two seconds left.

I've caught good chunks of their games at Bradley and at SIU. They are pretty fun to watch. They like to get out and run. They'll take some wild shots, but Taylor Johnson is playing great.

Women's team wins again, this time against Wichita State. They're now 4-0 in conference. First basketball win against Wichita State since we joined the conference.

Keep it going, ladies! I'm going to have to check out a few of their games. Huge win over ranked DePaul a few weeks ago and now a 4-0 start in conference.

Has the women's team ever made the tourney? I am guessing no considering UWGB was in the Horizon...

I don't think the women's team has ever been to the NCAA tournament. In 1989, they had a great record but lost to Notre Dame in the MCC tournament. They were one game away against Green Bay from going a few years ago. Marty Hawkins had some good teams in the 80s, but I don't think they ever made it to an NCAA tournament.
