Does anyone know if Loyola has senior ticket discounts?

There's a half-price special the day after we win a game, but who knows if or when that's going to happen again...

Right, but I am referring to tickets for senior citizens. Any discounts. Many MVC teams have them.

1. Next win is Wednesday.

2. There's no senior discount that I know of, but call up the ticket office and ask for a deal.

I'm amazed at how expensive our tickets are. It's an absolute farce. Tickets in the lower bowl for tomorrow night's Duke/ND game are cheaper than the Ramblers/Redbirds tilt Saturday. In what universe does that make sense? It's no surprise our attendance is absolute shit.

Since the decision to try and regain some basketball prominence we have almost screwed everything up. I will say the new gym and its overall connection to all the other campus improvements is a plus. I really think that the AD department has been an extension of the catacombs under Madonna della Srada. Also it seems that Kelly is in the wrong position as well. But Blue you are right on when you say pricing sucks. The whole marketing thing as been terrible.
I am hoping the new guy is the answer and they have given him enough authority and direction to get it done.
Northwestern does an interesting thing. I bought tickets for UW vs NU for $70 beanies. When not all the tickets sold out they went to something called purple pricing which kind of gets what the market can bear. WHen all was said and done I got a $35 refund on my ticket based upon what ended up being the average price for my seat. The AD department needs some energy.
I would encourage people to write the new guy.Give him your thoughts, ideas, and encouragement.

Good luck. Kelly is a narcissist and would rather do anything else than hear from alum.

It's sad honestly. I had five friends and myself (3 Ramblers 3 Redbirds) interested in attending the game Saturday. I'm probably the most serious fan as a lurker on this board. Certainly none of us would claim to be die-hards, but there was genuine enthusiasm about attending the game. At $35 a pop though we decided we'd rather just get together at a bar and watch rather than drop $200+ on a game that has little meaning to us outside of bragging rights.

The product on the court isn't anywhere near that price point.

If you aren't going to buy those tickets, who is going to put food on Kelly's table?

Yeah, it's a little ridiculous. $35 for the center court lower sections is probably high, but it doesn't bother me as much as $25 GAs. A family of four shouldn't have to pay $100 to sit in the upper corner

Looks like there are $20 tickets for this game according to this
