Zero Eight has it right !! PM-a class act coaching a class team--We are a tough out now--We shall be even tougher when Milton and Earl are back at full strength, NO MATTER where we finish--We arrived on scene a year early--this season will not go to waste==OI wager I am correct on this !!

Thanks "eight" for telling this as it is !

GO RAMBLERS !!

So, this is exciting news from the game notes...

"Milton Doyle, who has missed the last two games with an ankle injury, is likely out for another 3-4 weeks"

In other words, basically the rest of the conference season.

In other words, we'll be luck to get to 6 wins in conference and avoid Thursday night. Typical Loyola.

Maybe we can sneak out a W at Missouri St. or Bradley?

I guess six wins feels about right at this point. Sadly, I don't know that six wins will be enough to avoid Thursday. I was hoping for 8 wins. Anything from a 6-10 seed is in play. Getting the 8 or 9 seed is a disaster. If you win Thursday, you play at noon against the 1 seed on Friday and you go home at 2:00.

There were a handful of teams that got in the cit with 17 or fewer wins. But NIT is now basically out of the question.

I think it was out of the question when we lost to SIU.

I don't 1 bad loss would have torpedoed an NIT bid, but going 6-12 in the conference will.

Let's play the games and see what happens. I think these guys will respond. We will have to see if that's enough to make it a successful season. I won't prejudge that.

I think 8-8 is feasible even without Doyle. Nonetheless, I'd rather us lose a few games without him rather than have Doyle play when he's less than 100%.
