Loyola would have to completely fall apart at this point I think to play in one of the C tournaments. A top 50 RPI would put you in bubble talk for the NCAA. Just keep winning games and don't think like a mid-major. That word disgusts me.

While I wish that were true, even with a win over WSU in Wichita I don't see us getting an at large bid or being in the conversation this year. For an MVC school to get that, they need an eye-popping out of conference schedule or recent reputation of big years...that we just don't have yet. The committee has found such ways to overlook high RPI's to keep non-BCS conference schools out, such as Missouri State a few years ago who if I remember correctly had a top 30 RPI and didn't get an at large.

Once again I will NEVER forget in 1985 when we beat Oral Roberts on their floor to win our League tourney--I was close to the pile up of Rambler players when I heard Big Al screaming something like--" No committee will shut us out THIS TIME !!" We had been passed over in years previous to 1985
