So Illinois lost to NEW ORLEANS and I do not mean TULANE---That will just kill that fanct 48 RPI that they had prior to the game. You MUST win those cup-cakes--( I really know these things ) |

That is a bad loss, let alone at home. The Salukis' RPI dropped about 30 places to 322. I'm starting to hold out hope we can beat them in Carbondale. PS... I think you're thinking of Illinois State not SIU. Their RPI is a robust 44 as of now. |

John !! You see what happens when your brain hits 85 !!!! Sorry about that--Ill St it is !! Now then, we just may have an edge over Salukis, Dogs (the bull kind), the Native Americans (PC , you know) Mo ST and maybe even the Trees-- It will be a tough grind but we seem to be pretty good so far----Look what we did in a game and a half without Milton--Pretty deep if you ask me. I see a different look this season--call it a culture-- I saw it for sure at KENT up close--these guys were hanging on every word PM and the other Coaches said on the bench before but most importantly DURING the game. That game at Kent is taking on more importance to me as this season progresses. BTW, that Tulane gang is now at 8-1--Better than people thought they were. We surely will hit a bump along the way--Its how we handle it will tell a story--It looks as if even that might turn out well. |
