We are 14 point underdogs according to CBSPORTS !! This should NEVER be a spread associated with a LUC Hoops team--NEVER. Coach Porter M appears to have done everything correctly all down the line--eg--mostly roadies to toughen us--EVERYTHING except the MAIN thing--WIN !! Now is the moment we have been waiting for--A rise to a REAL Conf. The start of big things--a resurgence if you will--IS he up to it ?? LUC has done all he wished for--IT is now time--past time to deliver. As they say--'Heavy hangs the crown " Go for it RAMBLERS !! BTW , maybe someone--the MO ST reporters , perhaps, can answer---What's a BELMONT ???? More on this later--maybe ! |

You guys are priceless !! At least to me you are !!! Now then --especially to all those who wanted a BELMONT--rather than a LOYOLA !! A Belmont ois a small nondescript University which no doubt has a fine scholastic resume. Its Hoops has been fair to decent --only recently-- It is due to slip back to mediocrity shortls --same as some johnny come latelys do--to name a few Oral Roberts, NC Charlotte, Jacksonville--They rose like a rocket and did what all rockets do--fizzled !! That is what a Belmont is--It would have done the Valley little good except to the small thinkers in the MVC who know little better. LUC has had hard times --many years of them--We are on the way back--BIG TIME in the BIG CITY. The Powers of the Valley see this and saw what we represent--The " smallies" do not--They saw a Belmont. Now then -Make no mistake--Belmont IS a fine U--but not at all up to Valley Standards Hoops wise. GO RAMBLERS !! |
