When Dick was head coach at Detroit he bested the Ramblers 3 out of their 4 meetings. Back in the day there was a huge parking lot where Gentile now sits. It was between Mertz, the gym and the athletic field/cinder track. The visiting team bus always sat right there outside Mertz . 50 steps from the gym. I remember in 74/75 and the Titans had bested the Ramblers and Dick Vitale was sooo obnoxious harassing the refs we waited outside to heckle Coach Vitale as they boarded the bus... I suppose we have both matured a bit since then..!!!! and to give us a nod. That LU team had Tony Parker and Ralph Vallot and LLoyd Wilson but weak at guard
