Feels like he’s going to absorb Phil and Mwamba minutes (with DeLoach grabbing the rest of Phil’s minutes and all of Dame’s minutes). Seems like Drew has some flexibility with this last roster spot. Could be G or SF/wing. Still think Knowling of Yale would be a good roster fit but wouldn’t be shocked if Drew wants someone with 2 years of eligibility.

Loyola Chicago transfer Ben Schwieger has committed to Northern Iowa.

The 6’7” sophomore wing appeared in 10 games this season.

During the 2022-23 season Schwieger averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and was named to A-10 All-Freshman Team.

interesting article in Sun Times (hardest working paper in America!) about 13 Chicago area kids who are in the transfer portal. 3 of them are headed to Depaul. Ty Johnson was mentioned. Loyola was not mentioned as involved with any of the 13.
