That really surprised me.

We were lucky we caught UMass when Matt Cross was injured.

I like that we get GM coming off a game against Dayton and on a five day rest. No reason to lose that game.

VCU is now our A10 partner if we have any hopes at the regular season championship

UMass is deadly at home and this was a must win game for them to try to get that prized #4 seed. They took it to VCU from the beginning. VCU needs a quick recovery as they have a brutal schedule to end the season

UMass is a dark horse to win the A10 tourney. Cross & Cohen are about as good of a 1-2 punch as you'll see in the A10. If they are both on, combined with that tough Frank Martin defense they play, they can beat anyone. Hell, they almost beat us at Gentile without Cross. This is especially true if they can edge VCU out for that 4 seed and get the double bye.

Yep, & Cohen did as he pleased when we faced him at the Joe. We had no answer for him, at all.

I think there are a bunch of teams that could excel in the tournament and agree the double bye is big. The 3 point shot is such a factor and legs such a factor in shooting the 3..back to back to back days are tough!!!!
I think UMASS, Dayton, Richmond,VCU, to a lesser degree GM and Davidson
Our margin of victory taking out the one blowout against St.Louis is 5.9 points..2/3 possessions...
Our two losses..4.5
Get the double bye.!
