U MAS best the Spiders by ten

That means we're playing for a 1st place tie in the league againt St Joe's right now.

We are tied for first, with Richmond .5 behind. Dayton, Richmond and Loyola are tied in the loss column.

They have a bit of an easy run here but they end with a tough three games v VCU (their big rival as both schools are in Richmond), v St. Joe and @ GM (Mason is very tough at home).

March 1-2 is the weekend of reckoning in the A 10, with Dayton @ Loyola followed by VCU @ Richmond

We are technically the 1st overall seed as of today as we hold the tiebreaker over Dayton. Both teams are 0-1 vs the the 2nd and 3rd place teams (Richmond & VCU), 1-0 vs the 4th place team (UMass). Then we edge them by being 3-0 against the 5th place logjam of GM, Joe's and Bonnies, while they are only 2-0 against that group. Obviously, this will change a lot over the next few weeks. But it is kind of cool to say that if the season ended today, we'd be the #1 overall seed in the A10 tourney!
