I am going to be in NY next weekend to see my son. I was thinking about heading up to game. The gym looks pretty cool. It's small. Two things may keep me from going - tickets may be hard to get and it will be cold. |

I'll be in attendance. Though I didn't know there were discounted tickets, and a special section for alumni. So I paid full price for seats in section 116. |

just a side note...there is an alumni gathering on the 30th at home..The Alumni relations seems to do a poor job of communicating. Here is there contact number if people want to join.https://www.alumni.luc.edu/s/1548/alumn ... =2&pgid=61 For example there is a LU event at the Blackhawk game tomorrow...who knew? anyway here is the thing for January 30th against St. Louis. more info on the Alumni site Rambler Basketball: All-Alumni Pre-Game Reception Chicago, IL - Join fellow alumni and Rambler fans for a pre-game reception and then head into Gentile Arena to watch as Loyola takes on St/. Louis University. I think food and drinks from 5-7 |

I'll be at the game and the reception with my son who lives in NYC. Section 112 Forecasted to be 20-32F that weekend. Kinda cold by NY standards, heatwave compared to Chicago weather the past few days |

looks like a nice bonus for those going to the Fordham game Saturday will be Arthur Avenue Day as Little Italy comes to life inside the Rose Hill Gym, with several of our local restaurant partners setting up shop with their fine Italian cuisine. Nice idea...would be cool if LU did something like this....which reminds me we had a pre game meal at Hello Thai..on Devon...right across Broadway. 5 minutes from parking lot...very fresh...very good ,,,nice people. |
