I'm not sure if anyone has looked at the SEC's standings, but the worst overall record of the 16 teams is South Carolina...at 10-4. The league is an absolute juggernaut. Top to bottom, they could be one of the best leagues ever this season.
I was talking at the game yesterday with someone who attended an SEC school. He mentioned that the SEC has the largest NIL bankroll of all conferences. It handily beats the Big Ten and far exceeds the vast majority of other leagues. His perspective is that the great majority of the best players transferred into this SEC NIL money from last season to this season. An example provided was 13-1 Vanderbilt. Pretty much the entire team is new. The coach and the transferred in NIL paid players. It was noted that Vandy hasn't been good in recent years but has, like all the SEC teams, exploded over the NCAA teams in non con play and it is because they are now better a better (bought) team.
