Holy hell that's quite a get... might be our best recruit ever? Not sure how he was ranked vs. Miles and the two 2024 four stars.

Mentioned him briefly last week but Chuck is really talented. Seems like practice and games are two different things at this point, but this guy is oozing talent. Hopefully Drew can coach him up and he's the next Des

Class of 2025 four-star wing Chuck Love has committed to Loyola Chicago, per his Instagram page.
Love — the 6-foot-6, 170-pound small forward from La Lumiere (IN) and the Mokan Elite EYBL AAU program — took an official visit to Loyola Chicago this past weekend. Now, he’s a Rambler.
He becomes head coach Drew Valentine’s first commit in the 2025 class. This is now three straight classes where Valentine has signed a top-150 recruit.
During the EYBL regular season, Love averaged 9.1 points and 2.6 rebounds in 16.2 minutes per contest. Mokan did not play at Peach Jam. Love is known for his shooting ability.

Chuck Love went in-depth on his decision to choose Loyola-Chicago with On3.

“I chose Loyola because the relationship I built with Coach Valentine. The staff was authentic and genuine. The standards and expectations that have been set forth for the program align with my values. Loyola’s culture and tradition were very appealing to me and it’s a winning program.”

What led to his trust in the coaching staff?

“What allowed me to trust them is that they believed in me when I was playing well and they also believed in me when I wasn’t. It made me feel comfortable because they understood the highs and lows of this journey. They had been watching and talking to me through the majority of the process. They just understood on so many levels.”

In his own words, what type of player is Loyola-Chicago getting in Chuck Love?

“A long, athletic, versatile wing that can score at all levels and create for others and takes pride on the defensive end.”

He has a message for Loyola fans.

“A message for the fans is that I’m excited to bring my winning mentality on both sides of the floor to help our team w

Yeah, this get is real encouraging. I also like that he mentions defense.

A four-star recruit with multiple P5 offers says he signed with Loyola because it's a winning program with a great culture and tradition.

I'M NOT CRYING, YOU'RE CRYING!

Love is a great get. ESPN has him ranked in the their Top 100 at 96 for the 2025 Class. We also signed Nic Anderson earlier this summer as well who is a 3 star and 6'4". We are off to a great start in that 2025 Class with 2 scholarships left.

Quote I love from Anderson is as follows:

"As a freshman I feel like I can help out by just being a great team player and doing whatever coach needs me to do and excelling in my role," said Anderson. "I'd definitely like to expand my true guard skills while also getting stronger and more physical." Seems to be a team guy who was blooming late. Saw some tape of him. He can jump and dunk, and shoot.

Add these guys into the mix with the Top 50 recruiting class of this year, if Drew can keep them all and get them to grow and mesh and LU is set-up for some sustained success.

Another visit from a top 100 level recruit. Offers from Maryland, Georgetown, George Mason, George Washington, and College of Charleston to name a few.

Quote:
Kanga is a four-star on On3, having a 92 rating, and being ranked 93rd in the country. He is a three-star according to 247’s Composite ranking, having him as a .9346, the 125th best in the country, and third best in the state of Maryland.

Can’t speak to the validity of the source, but seems like it might be down to Loyola and GM for Kanga
