Junior passed on Tuesday at his home in San Marcos after battling a glioblastoma brain tumor for 2 1/2 years. He was 58. Jimmy was an asst for Larry Farmer at LU. Junior was always entertaining and loved hoops. I remember him and his future wife Amy going to see my daughter Hannah in the Joffrey Ballet production of the Nutcracker. Amy was cracking up when Jimmy asked her when the singing was going to start. He really was an original and will be missed. Glad we were friends.
