If London wants to be an AC, I'd fully support that hire. Backfilling the DOBO role with someone from the A10 makes sense to me.

On the one hand, would obviously be great for a guy wanting to be a head coach to get that opportunity. And if he’s offered and chooses to accept it, I wish him all the best.

But I’d hate to see him leave. His name seems to be mentioned often by potential recruits, so it seems like he’s been a good and important impact for us there.

You’d think it’d be a no-brainer to take such an opportunity. But, I also read that the Coach he’s replacing left to take a P6 assistant role….which might give me pause as to the resources he’d have to start a head coaching career.

If Morgan leaves, it's important that Valentine hires a top assistant. Like, a guy who should have been a head coach, but didn't want to take on the burden. Scott Spinelli?

Sweeney mentioned Nicholls as being one of the worst D1 jobs. I think a guy like Morgan could get a better gig if he stayed and we had one good year.

Kevin’s pretty plugged in, so suspect this is legit now.

Bummer we’re likely losing Amorrow, but hopefully Drew can pull in another strong recruiter to fill the seat.

Well, many people on here, myself included, wanted a shakeup of the coaching staff. I just didn't expect it to happen through guys being hired away.

A pivotal off-season for Drew just got more difficult. Two roster spots and two coaching staff vacancies to fill...

Hopefully it’s only two roster spots. In todays transfer-happy world, when a top assistant who’s also a top recruiter leaves, who knows what dominos that could knock down. Also, what commits might back away. Isn’t one of our recruits for 2024 class from California? If he was being recruited by Coach Morgan, that might definitely be one to watch. Maybe?

From Amorrow’s perspective, I’m guessing it’s tough for us to compete with what a big conference school can offer to assistants. this is definitely a better move than the other head coaching job, though. Always seemed like a good person, so wish him all the best.

It’ll be interesting to see who fills the coaching spots. Will a familiar name return, or someone completely new to us?
