next year the Ramblers head to Kansas City the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving to participate in a four team tourney with Boston College and Creighton. I believe the fourth team is Missouri. Not 100% confirmed but it appears that the year after the Ramblers will participate in a Honolulu tourney (not the Maui classic). I believe it is called the Diamondhead Classic. Other teams unknown. |

Thanks, Streak! Fun excuse to go get some KC barbecue. Not a bad lineup of teams, either. Maui Classic is a dream. Probably the only MTE above the Battle for Atlantis on the hierarchy. But a winter trip to Hawaii will be great, regardless of the tourney! |

If the 4th team is Mizzou, that could be a pretty good tournament and field. The Tigers probably aren’t great this year, despite their current record, but their fans and alums (including my boss) are hopeful Dennis Gates can turn that ship around. |

If this is in regards to the Hall of Fame Classic, both Creighton and Mizzou were confirmed to play in it back in August. |

At the pregame season ticket holder reception on Sunday, Steve Watson confirmed the KC Tournament for next season but said only us and Creighton have signed contracts. |

Steve also stated they are working on a local tournament with us, Northwestern, De Paul and maybe one more local team. This would be cool. |

Per Jon Rothstein, it's now confirmed we will be in the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City next year with Creighton, Boston College and Colorado State. It'll take place on Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving, in case anyone wants to head down and have some KC bbq for Thanksgiving dinner. Creighton obviously the headliner, but Colorado State is traditionally a solid mid-major. BC is a P6 team...but hasn't been very competitive. |

Any insiders with information on what MTE we will be in next season? Planning family vacations for the year and always try to swing the Loyola MTE if I can (usually works out if it's in a warm weather spot!). I see Dayton is headed back to the Maui Invitational in 2024. They played there in their historic (and tragic) 2019-2020 season. Massive fanbase that travels well--not surprised Maui invited them back. VCU is set to play there in 2025. That's my dream MTE. Maybe one day... |

Rumor from this years KC tournament is a tropical destination is in store for us this fall. |
