We even cut fouls down to a reasonable rate against Boise.

Correction: Ramblers ended up with 21! after only 7 in the first half.

This year (& past years too) the Ramblers have been winners when they play Defense & losers when they emphasize run & gun.

So far they are 7-1 when they hold opponents to 63 points or less (including the exhibition game). Their only loss is the 6 point loss at Harvard.

They are 2-14 when their opponents score 67 points or more (wins being over Central Arkansas & Fairleigh Dickinson [OT game]).

Hopefully the coach will continue with the Defense as he did in our last 2 home games
and as LU did in the last 5 consecutive winning years.

Hey, we all forget a third guy we are missing. Namely Tate Hall who gave us another strong disruptive defender.

It's takes a lot of energy and focus to play the type of defense we have seen the last few games in the first15 minutes of game. We are starting to stretch that out to longer periods of intensity and focus.

I have wavered on Drew and some of the players, but the last couple of ganes, they are starting to show a little better.

Winning and losing can become habits and tough ones to break. Hopefully with us winning 2 of our last 4 and being more competitive is the beginning of us forming winning habits.

As Sister Jean preaches... Worship, Work, Win!

This year’s Ramblers are now 8-1 when they hold opponents to 63 points or less (including the exhibition game). Their only loss in playing tough defense was the 6 point loss at Harvard.

They are 2-15 when their opponents score 67 points or more (wins being over Central Arkansas & Fairleigh Dickinson [OT game]).

It is not last year’s Hall, Uguak, or Williamson, that are 8-1 when they play defense, it is this year’s team.

Take it easy Fleet Wolf. My point was that in those teams that were listed for playing great defense the past 5 years, a guy like Tate Hall was overlooked, then and now looking back. I never commented on this year's team.
