I think the next team we play is better than this one.

Hopefully we tighten up the defense a little and make some shots.

Michigan plays FOS Provence today, the same team we play tomorrow. Should be a good litmus test, as they are supposed to be top 25 this year. Will be nice to have a comparison point, although who knows if Michigan will do as much rotation/lineup experimentation as we have been doing.

By comparison on what other teams are doing in their trios, SLU is beating up on a team that plays in the third tier of the Italian league. So gotta give props to our staff for getting real tough competition.

Michigan lost to FOS Provence today, the team we play tomorrow. Not sure of a score but just shows that college-aged kids, even top tier college talent, going up against professionals in a top European league isn't easy. Lot of NBA players have come from the Serie A league in France.

Watching the game now. This is pretty intense competition-- no dogging it as an exhibition, they're all working to compete hard. Saint looks good so far. I like how Hutty looks, but he needs a swagger-- and just as I write it, he doesn't finish on a give and go at the basket.

Frenchie took four steps and no travel.

Got to hit the open threes...... What's the point of threes if you have one open by 10 feet and you air ball it?

Screen by Hutty was clean. Not sure what the French bench was upset about and yelling at our bench. You can tell they amped up their defense after that interaction, giving us some fits after we controlled the game for awhile. This French team has a lot of athletes.

Really impressed by Ben. Swiss Army knife, made some great reads to Phil and Hutty, Hutty just needs to finish. Nice ball handling too.

Too many TOs. Love how Alston attacks the rim.

I haven’t been impressed at all by Saint on the offensive end. He had a nice assist there at the end, but shots aren’t falling for him

We have been missing too many wide open 3s this whole trip. Maybe European rims are smaller. Something with the metric system.

This team beat Michigan by 18 yesterday, as a point of comparison.

Was that Karl Malone playing for the French team?....guy is a mountain....The French team is a physical, older team....they are shoving us around a little...but there is over all improvement from 2nd game. better switches on D....overall hustle is up.....a little better ball movement on offense. Did anyone see Coach V yell at the camera man "did you see this" about the screen that Hutty set and the French team complained about? interesting overall intensity of game picked up after that....Quinn continues to impress me as a frosh that is going to get playing time....Lewis has his left arm wrapped. Golden is a little smaller than I thought.
