The season ticket renewal notice included a note that the seating will be switched up this year. The student section is apparently going to switch sides, as will the team benches and the ticket holders in the sections where the students are moving. This will put the student section in the camera shot, which should make for a different tv viewer perspective.

However, I also can’t help but feel like the ticket office just didn’t want my face regularly shown to a larger East coast audience, as a representative of the alumni and fan base. A little insulting, but I can’t say that I blame them.

A little insulting, but I can’t say that I blame them. This is a good change. Hated seeing empty seats on the TV, especially in the "prime" first few rows. Students have been absolutely filling up the place land will look great on TV. I did like having the benches in the TV shot though--always interesting to see reactions and body language from coaches and players.

Yes, this is about time. Though my daughter did love seeing herself on the tube, the student section should be show as it's grown to a very respectable level
