UNI because they normally lose a lot of games in the noncon before they figure it out.

I'd be game to play UNI regularly as a Home N Home, Jake seems to have a good relationship with our program and while I dislike their program because they are good its a quality opponent with some nice brand recognition nationally.

The remainder I just dont see the point.
We dont need to play SIU because we're already playing SLU annually and can recruit that area if we need to.
Missouri State same deal as SIU.
I think our last Peoria area recruit was Keke White, so not sure what value Bradley would bring.
We dont recruit Iowa, so Drake is out given the seeming bad blood between the programs I see no value in scheduling a team thats primary goal is to show us up when we play them.
Valpo is Valpo & Evansville is Evansville, nothing to gain there.
The ISUs maybe? But again what do we gain? Reduced travel budget? Why not just schedule Michigan programs then, we at least recruit there.

The same idea goes for them in relation to us. They all have local Chicago games already so why schedule us? If the answer is its a name program for them to get a "good" game in the non-con fine, but I'd treat it like we get treated elsewhere when we're hunting for good non-con games. You can come to us, no home-n-home.

I don't see the value of playing any MVC teams--other than UIC for rivalry--because there's no guarantee they'll be winnable games. Better to look for P5 conference games like DePaul, Northwestern, Marquette and Wisconsin. But if I had to choose, those with little travel time like Bradley, Valpo and maybe Illinois St.
