This season in MVC play, the Ramblers are 12-0 in MVC play when they limit their opponents to 67 or fewer points in regulation time.

The Ramblers 2-5 when their MVC opponents score 68 or more in regulation time.

It is no accident the Lucas Williamson & Aher Uguak were chosen by the MVC on the MVC All-Defensive 5.

Now the Ramblers are 15-0 against MVC teams when they limit their opponents to 67 or fewer points in regulation time.

Schwieger over the past four games has been a different player. Great offensive lift for the team.

Ryan was huge this weekend, was excellent to see him round back into form. He is an important part of the rotation and we will need that scoring to advance.

Was shocked how poorly Knight played. He's shown how good he can be at times. But today, turnovers + fouls, no points. He's fun to watch when he's at his best. Hoping he bounces back in the tournament.

Teams that play against LU are really tortured when Ryan is putting up 14+ points in a game. When he's seeing the ball go through the net: (1) He's sneaky and often scores daggers late in the shot clock, (2) he's a very competent 3-pt shooter so he opens up space for everyone else, and (3) he draws fouls when he's scoring because the other team has to turn up the pressure and he's very good at getting defenders in the air or in poor defending position.
In my opinion, he could have a big first Tourney weekend for us. Unlike Valley Teams that know us well, unsuspecting, over-confident Power 6 teams risk waking up to his potential after he's given us a lift of 10 or more. As they wake up to Ryan, then Norris, Kennedy, and Hall tend to find themselves with more time and space-- the two things that bring players up a level are more time and space.

Seemed like he started every game with 2 fouls before tipoff

I don't know if Hutson played a minute of the tournament. He will have to in the NCAAs against teams with post size. At the very least, we need the center position to be like the 90s Bulls, giving 15 fouls worth of competent play.

Schwieger's offensive play is our barometer.... when he scores early it seems to loosen and relax the entire offense...and we play much better. When he starts 0 for 4 with too much dribbling and an offensive foul - we will struggle for the entire game. Think back to the first 3 weeks of the season (and then the San Francisco game) when he was our leading scorer.

Unfortunately - Schwieger's defense is what it is. He really has shown little to no improvement over the season and continues to get caught out of position and caught reaching. The MVC teams figured this out.....maybe our tourney opponents will miss this? (very unlikely!)

But his offense was on at Arch - great job and keep it up Ryan!

Chris Knight's play was unbelievable from the opening tip on Friday. Almost seems like he was intimated by the moment. He led the conference in field goal % for most of the regular season - yet missed everything in St Louis. Missed the rim completely a couple times....on lay ups. Need him to get it back.

One thing I’ll push back on. Schwieger had his best defensive outings the last 3 days. He was very locked in, still not perfect but I think he was no longer a negative defender that teams were relentlessly hunting (
