Really tough half. Starting slow can't continue. Play with fire too many times and you're going to get burned eventually. Hopefully that won't be tonight. But being down 8 after Krikke and King's foul trouble is disappointing.

22 first half points. At home. Against a lower tier Valley team.

Just gotta figure something out on the offensive end. The passing and cutting that got us back in the Bradley game seems non-existent. Hutty just can't seem to figure things out on either end. Quise/Schwiegs are probably our two most explosive offensive players, but both of them try to do too much and force drives leading to TOs, offensive fouls or bad shots.

Defense had some good possessions but need to do a better job overall. Couldn't even make a run with Krikke/King out with foul trouble. Those two are going to only make things more difficult in the 2nd half.

I swear to God everytime the announcer says "Beacons" I hear "Vegans".

I actually think "Vegans" is a better name. It's trendier, and might attract a certain element of today's health and socially conscious youth to Valpo.

3 games in 6 days coming off everyone having Covid might be tough on the old conditioning...

Confusing patterns from Drew again. 2 games in a row our staff he’s been out coached. Gotta find something here and quick.

I'm not seeing how we pull this one out. Offense looks even more lost than it did vs Bradley. Only hope might be to continue to draw fouls now that we are in the bonus (and actually make our FTs...).
