DePaul looks like they've had a week to prepare. We've looked prepared for 3 prep days, but they've been all over every play we've had.

I dont think energy or preparation is the issue. We came out looking great.

Not often that you're down at the half when you're shooting 56%! The diffence is that we've taken 23 shots compared to their 35. Most of their points came in transition after we turned over the ball.

Stop the turnovers...and we'll be fine.

This is something concerning, not sure if you guys have noticed but Coach V never calls timeouts when the other team goes on huge runs, it’s becoming a bad habit in multiple games now. Call a time out to get the guys reset.

Absolutely! That was something that PM was very good at doing in order to stop the other team's momentum. Also gotta sub guys out when they keep making bad plays. Let them sit a bit, then put em back in.

Up 23-8 at the 11 minute mark. Outscored 29-8 the rest of the way.

What happened?!?

They scored 17 points off of our turnovers.

This is a team that is imposing their will. After the initial punch in the mouth - DePaul has sped us up and we don’t look the part in a fast up tempo game.

4 fouls on their center Ongenda. Take it to them in the paint. DePaul is going to be playing a smaller lineup.

Feel like we look our best with the Ivy guys, Aher, Lucas, and either Norris/Marquise.

Tate gives us some scrap and Hutty some size, but those 6 really make the team go

You’re absolutely right, the Ivy fellas are just smart players, work hard and score. Like Tate’s defense and scrappiness but often he’s a liability on offense. Kennedy brings a different dynamic that DePaul has to respect, we look like a different team with him on the floor.

Loving the way Kennedy is running the point today..and Schweiger is playing great. He's always under control and can pretty much score at all levels.

Kennedy has 4 fouls on him right now, but luckily so does JFL. Gotta keep attacking the rim. DePaul is looking a bit tired while we've been able to go to our bench.
