Absolute embarrassment to end the game.

It all starts with Tate Hall. How on earth does he take that shot. If he takes it back out we have the final shot. This is why he shouldn't have been on the floor. He's been a black hole offensively for 2 years now.

Then after Michigan State scores, nobody calls timeout with 3.4 left on the clock. They would have had a chance to at least try and art something up to win it. Instead we had to settle for a half court prayer.

Just an absolute embarrassment from players who have been here way too long to be this dumb.

They MUST win tomorrow now.

We didn’t exactly put on a clinic. Both teams played terrible, especially the first half.

They had just had a time out and probably had talked about what to do. Three seconds left, you’re still stuck under the basket if you call it, what do you draw up that is better then trying to catch them sleeping in transition after that basket.

I hope the coaching staff learns a lot from this game. We needed a challenge and we got it.

You have players set up on the other end of the floor so you can set a screen down court to try and get at least some kind of respectable 3 point shot. If you can figure out a way to get over the half court line in 3 seconds out of a timeout late then the team is in bugger trouble than we think.

You think this team is in “trouble”? Please. We played terrible, shot poorly, still came back from a 9 point deficit and lost to Michigan State on a last second shot. Take a breath.

That loss is something I expect from a young, inexperienced team. The lack of situational awareness by a bunch of 5th year seniors to not call a timeout when you have the ball on the ground and can hold for the last shot is inexcusable. Then to not call a timeout or even pass the ball to someone who has momentum going to the basket with 3.4 seconds left is ridiculous. That can't happen.

Also, if the transition offense was putrid. The amount of rushed turnovers and missed layups is inexcusable. If the transition offense was just average, it's not a close game.

Still, there were some good things in this game. It's up to the Seniors to get ready to play tomorrow. There's still opportunities for resume building wins and going 2-1 would still be a success.

We could have used those two points from the missed goaltending call.
