In a word: Yikes. SIU lost. MSU is losing. UNI is losing. Bradley is losing…by a lot. Not a good night overall for the conference. |

Embarrassing. MSU and UNI see their at-large chances submarine on opening night. Dana Ford is a bad coach and Ben Jacobsen is very overrated. At least the ISUs won! |

Doesn't scream Player of the Year to me though. Gotta feel a little bit for UNI and Missouri State though. I remember feeling like we blew our tournament chances after the Furman game in 2019 and the Coppin State game in 2020. It sucks for the conference too. |

That Missouri State loss at home is a killer. KenPom and others had them winning with a 98% probability over Southeast Missouri. Also expected better from UNI. |

Maybe we can turn this to a general MVC Chat thread. Watching the UNI/Vermont game right now. Big woof on attendance for the Panthers against a decent mid-major opponent. Even the student section is sparse--probably fewer than 100 students in attendance. Looks worse than Gentile did in our exhibition game vs UW-Stout. |
