Shooting that poorly and only being down 1 is a testament to some really strong defense. Let's start this second half fast.

Phyfe outplaying Krutwig by a lot. That plus our three pointers not falling...it is surprising we are still in this. Need one of those two pieces of the offensive equation to start working or we lose.

We’re playing great defense but allowing way too many second chance points.

Welch and Clemons have a nice chemistry

It looked like that pass/alleyoop from Clemons to Welch was tipped, and Welch adjusted midair to catch it. You can see why he was such a good soccer goalie.

Just want to mention how good Kennedy has been fighting for rebounds down low. Not just this game, either. He doesn’t always get the rebound, but he gives us an opportunity to get it.

Tate Hall having his best game of the year. Keep him as a bench weapon.

Props to Tate Hall tonight. For all the crap he's taken on this board, he's been playing great. It seems like he got the message PM was looking to send.

Also props to Marquise Kennedy who's been battling all game too.

Great second half. When this team is locked in on defense, it’s really, really good.

What a second half. Holy cow. Phenomenal defense with active hands forcing turnovers. And really importantly, we found a way to score points when Krut wasn't able to get anything going. Hall had a fantastic ball game.

Forgot how good Phyfe is. Overshadowed in the past by AJ Green's accolades. But he might have been the best player on the floor for stretches of the game tonight. But Loyola's defense refocused on him a bit in the 2nd half and caused him in to some sloppy turnovers.
