So....after taking the grand kids out to jump in puddles...came home exhausted, plopped into the form fitting lazy boy....turned on the t and v and there was the PANTHER REPORT...on CHICAGO sports nbc....what the F............lots of questions.....do you think they pay to have it on? or are they making some cash? why doesnt LU have a spot like this? Does UNI have a ton of alumns here in CHicago? |

Pretty sure they pay. Remember, they also have football, so that's two revenue sports they promote. NBC Sports Chicago is carried by a lot of cable systems downstate (and possibly into Iowa). Also, NBC Sports Chicago used to show most Cubs games, and the Cubs have a huge following & Triple A team in Iowa. |
