The Athletic already reported that Dayton was planning on being a part of another bubble event. It's uncertain if they could do both or would drop out of the Myrtle Beach tournament.

Assuming Dayton and Nebraska drop out, I don't know if they would be replaced or the tournaments would be reworked entirely. If teams can play 5 games in the bubble, a round robin tournament between the remaining teams (Loyola, Charlotte, Missouri, Penn, Pitt, and Utah State) could be a good opportunity to pick up wins against a pair of Power 6 teams and another top Mid Major.

See the full thread on twitter for more detail, but things not looking so hot for the Orlando ESPN events. Seem to be some major difference in all facets of the logistics.

It honestly doesn't feel like we have a lot of nonconference games scheduled.

Really hoping Porter can pull some rabbits out of some hats here.

Lot of games that will need to be made up for a lot of good teams, just hope we can snag a few of them.

this is where the lack of leadership and competency by the NCAA makes a difference....what happens if lots of schools book a full non-conference schedule and others cant? and there is a large discrepancy.....

Damn I was excited about this. I trust the athletic department to make the best of a tough situation but that may not be much lol.

Given the second, third or first wave of the virus not very surprising. At this point, if we can only get in a conference season and Arch Madness, I would be "happy". Unusual circumstances for sure.

If the NCAA sticks to the 27 game requirement for the NCAA tournament, 3 times through the Valley schedule instead of the usual 2 could be an interesting avenue for the league to explore.

If we play 27 regular season conference games what is the over/under on how many times the phrase "It's hard to beat a team three times" appears on Ramblermania?
