Looks like DePaul’s AD is retiring, and people are happy. Wonder if this impacts this series. More importantly, I wonder if Watson is on their list of potential replacements. |

“Retiring” At a time when schools everywhere are being hit hard financially, it will be interesting to see what happens with jobs like this. |

I think it's an actual retirement and not them forcing her out. She did just hand out an extension to their coach, and she's apparently fairly connected among the money people there. I doubt next year's game gets cancelled; the return game at Gentile is probably more up in the air. As for Watson, he would obviously be a great hire for them, but I'm sure they'll look at a lot of people. If Watson does go there, hopefully we can use some type of leverage to make the DePaul series a more regular affair rather than one off series every decade or so. |

Visited the Depaul message board. Somebody referred to Doug Bruno as "Doug in a Rug". Googled "Doug Bruno toupee" and got a couple hits. Does he wear a toupee? Never thought about it before but it seems likely to me now. |

Are you implying that Doug Bruno wearing a toupee is so obvious that my failure to notice makes me obtuse? Or am I being obtuse in not understanding your point? Either way I guess I'm obtuse. (And fyi it's not my arm that's gone to hell, it's my legs.) |
