Our wins and losses match up directly with second half scoring. We blew out St Joes and IUPUI in the second half. But outscored by 9 against coppin and 4 today.

I would also suggest that at least against USF and CSU, we came out of halftime very strong. The first counter punch has been good. We came out blazing in both these Cayman games; but run out of gas.

We’ve just failed to finish in the last ~10; mostly with field goal droughts and opponents 3 points shots. We’ve been good making the first two adjustments... but that last segment of the game... ugh.

I expect to see much better second half performances in future games. In the four losses this year Loyola has been outscored by a combined 50 points in the second half. Both the coaching staff and players are going to have to make some serious adjustments or it will be a very disappointing season.

I expect to compete only in ESPN affiliated MTEs from here on!
