Great preview , as always John. I am afraid that you are probably correct in placing the Ramblers fourth in regular season play, but hope that with the return of Agunanne and Clemons, the team might jell and compete for the Arch Madness championship in March.

Leadership and chemistry and individual confidence were all vitally important to the Final Four run.....did not see any of it early on this year....granted it is early and granted we have not only 7 new players to integrate but two new coaches.....Hope we all hang in and support the Ramblers through what I think JCT you have correctly described as kind of a re-building year.....Thanks for the preview...

Brot says we finish TWO behind UNI !!! Why?--We have the best in his position PM--He cannot p[ay BUT he can COACH !! Bradley is Bradley and should be in eleventh place--- Maybe LONG race will do in UNI BUT they are just GOOD
RAMBLERS WILL SURPRISE ~~ As will the rest of the MVC---A tight race coming

I'm high on UNI also. Less so on Bradley.

As for us? Who knows. I think we can be pretty good, but it is going to take time.

Agreed on UNI. I think AJ Green is a guy who can create his shots which UNI hasn't really had in the past. A difference maker. I think UNI and MoSt battle it out for first/second. And Loyola and Bradley battle it out for third/fourth. At Arch Madness? Anything can happen.

I, for one, will never forget Brot’s unyielding faith, years ago, that the Ramblers would one day return to compete with the top teams in the nation. At points when we were at the bottom of the Horizon League. And then, a few years later, we were in the Final Four.

Count me as someone who will always give deference to Brot’s predictions since then. I think we’ll be there in the end. We’re young, but I think the overall talent and coaching is there.

Hard to argue with the well earned prognosis of a grizzled veteran .....Hope we hear more from Brot as the season unfolds.

Just checking in for the upcoming season....
Looking forward to Tuesday, with a mindset of watching the Ramblers
develop as the season progresses. Hope to see Porter work with this cast
and get them to develop to the potential he saw in them when recruited.
As always, chemistry takes time, but I believe we are not short on talent to make it work.
It will all come down to conference play and the tournament as the final judgement of this season.
GO RAMBLERS!!!!!
