I really believe Yaklich might get it and if he doesnt you'd have to believe that he would be high the list of a school like Northwestern or Marquette. |

Porter was relatively active on Twitter today. If I had to guess I’d say it’s not a coincidence he posted these on the same day speculation was building that he might be a candidate to bolt for Michigan. |

I haven't seen anything indicating the job is Howard's yet, but it looked like they may be down to Howard and Yaklich, with a darkhorse being Butler's head coach. It doesn't seem like Porter got any of the attention from Michigan that most media outlets thought he might get (which i'm happy about). If Michigan does end up hiring Howard, I bet it doesn't go well.. I guess we'll see though. |

NBA player coaches getting college gigs seems to be a growing trend. Howard, Stackhouse, Walter McCarthy - Johnson and Mullin - both lost left their jobs, I don't remember this being a trend. |

Don't forget Avery Johnson at Alabama, who "mutually parted ways" with the program after this past season. Jury still out on what Patrick Ewing is doing at his alma mater, Georgetown. |
