I completely agree... how often does it seem that the hot team going into archmadness pulls it off. Amazing that BU started 0-5 in conference and went to the dance!?!?! |

I have a question for everybody. For the people watching the first round this year, do you feel differently when you’re watching it than you did in years past? I’ve watched the first rounds every year since I was a kid and I always enjoyed it... but this year, in the wake of last year, I have this Undescribable feeling when watching, compared to other years. I’m not more excited or less excited about the games themselves. I still like watching - it’s not bitterness or regret that this years team didn’t make it. Maybe it’s just the fact that last year I actually felt like I was a part of the whole thing, and this year that feeling is gone. Or maybe the start of this tournament officially closed the door on last years epic run. I can’t put my finger in it. |

Toledo I have a similar feeling. It just feels like something is missing from the tournament. I think it is just because we aren't in the tournament and nothing will be like last year. Normally I am rooting for the MVC team but I couldn't do it this year with Bradley beating us. |

I found myself pulling for Bradley, but otherwise I agree with you guys. It's never gonna be as much fun as last year was. |

Last year will always stand on its own, and will never be topped. Even if we were to get back to the Final Four, or even win it, it won’t be the feeling of last year. Playing in empty gyms to playing in front of 70k people (and millions on TV). We were the real life, college version of the movie “Hoosiers” |
