Remember 40% of all DI basketball players transfer by the end of their sophomore year. The problem is that Valpo is losing substantial contributors.

Golder May Give Valpo Cold Shoulder, Seeks Program that’s Bolder: Transfers May be Too Great a Burden for Lottich to Shoulder.

I think to make our Poetry Slam a little more challenging, we should require future works to be either in iambic pentameter or limmerick form.

Not necessarily a transfer, but somewhat fits the theme of the thread.

This one's for you swella.

Vandy just fired Bryce Drew,
Not his that fault Garlands knee blew,
Could he possible go,
Back home to Valpo,
In hopes of starting anew?

Well done!

Who knew there was so much literary talent (besides mine, of course) on Ramblermania?

Not sure if this deserves its own thread, but Isaiah Bujdoso will be transferring. Not a total shock, I kinda felt like the offensive system didn’t serve his strengths (always struck me as a pg who wants to spend time probing to create off the dribble rather than swing the ball around the perimeter. Best of luck to him!

Opens up another spot that can go to a guard/transfer

Didn't really anticipate that, but I guess it's not too surprising. Playing time was going to be an issue.

FYI sometimes when you try to embed a tweet, the link will have something like "?s=20" at the end. Don't know what it is,but you have to delete the ? And everything after.

I liked Isaiah so it’s too bad to see him transfer. I think he could become a good player for us but can see playtime being an issue if we get a juco.

Had heard some rumors...was hoping it was not true...I like to see our freshman come and stay,,,,,Seemed like a really good kid. Thought his O was okay...had a slow first step on D even though he had range. Hope he ends up somewhere where he will have a good college experience. Back side of this and the timing might mean we think we are bringing in two players on the 15th.
The transfer thing for me is kind of a catch 22......I really dont want to be a program that consistently shuffles players in and out......I watch Duke with their one and dones..and think they are not a college basketball program.....Texas Tech tonight had a starter grad transfer who was playing for his 3rd school......I guess I am old school....It is great that to some degree we still have student athletes.
