Smits is transferring to "hopefully play some better competition." (https://www.nwitimes.com/sports/college ... op-story-1) A bit of a slap in the face to the Valley. The dude wasn't even a top 3 center in the league this year--hell maybe not even top 5. And likely wouldn't be next year either. Have fun riding the pine tar for some P5 school. |

Yikes. Hopefully he knows where he’s going before he makes a statement like that. Definitely was not one of the top three centers in the league this year. I find it funny when you make a statement like that after competing all year against a center ON YOUR OWN TEAM for playing time ... and lost. |
