The Trib posted a pretty nice interview with Porter--also a nice one with Cheryl-- The comment that stood out for me was--He was looking for a "take Charge" guy. I have a feeling that this really means he has found one. We just may see a different style of offense shortly---Think BIG AL !! Hopefully our defense will be Porter-like as usual--You know, GOOD --and that will allow us to roll. BTW, then we also must have a second and third big scorer-- so that the likes of the Shocker et al will not gang up on one guy. Hence why I am harping on how good our BIGS really will be. Gettin' close Gang !! What do you think ??? |

Brot thanks for the heads up on the article. I always enjoy his interviews. I think his passion for the game and genuineness comes through. I think he is a good rep of the U and good coach for the kids.... Whether he will be successful or not with Ws and Ls remains to be seen. Kind of concerned with recruiting slowing recently and seeing one of our recruits in trouble. But anxious for the season |

I am looking forward to this season. It seems like the whole organization is starting to develop an ingredient that has been missing for too many years. And that is TWTW!!!!! |
