It will be very interesting to see where we go with the one available scholarship. One one hand it might be smart to add a big as it will be the season entering Krutwigs final year, on the other hand we could go all in on a highly talented guard. We've expressed interest in Ahron Ulis out of Marian Catholic, who'd make a lethal pair with Marquise Kennedy.

I think it all might depend on the development of Welch/Negron. If Porter believes that one of them can play well and big alongside Frank then I think Porter will go with a guard. If not, they'll go big. Just my two cents.

Also, people can always transfer. You never know if we'll have one scholarship or three next year.

Absolutely! It's pretty reasonable to think we'll probably have 2-3 total scholarships next year... But it limits how much they can do in the early signing period. I'm also really curious to see how Welch plays with his back to the basket, as of now i think he'll be more of a face up 4.

Today we offered 6'0" PG Nijel Pack from Indianapolis. He played for Indy Heat in this past weekend's EYBL tournament.

Per Twitter, we have offered 6'6 forward, JaKobe Coles out of Texas. Also has offers from TCU, Tulsa, Texas A&M, Grand Canyon and Butler. Butler offer came same days as ours--interesting that his first two offers from Midwest schools came on the same day.

We have some high level offers right now.

Per 247's newest rankings:

DJ Steward-96
Jakobe Koles-120
Luke Kasubke-153
Nijel Pack-170
Isaiah Rivera-250

I seriously doubt we're pursuing Steward anymore, he's really exploded.

But the rest are all the MM+/HM type talents that we could realistically have a chance at. Worth noting we were very early on Kasubke and Rivera; so it's possible we're no longer involved.

Three guys we made offers are in the updated Rivals 2020 Top 150 today.

Similar to the 247 rankings Blers posted earlier in the week, but they're way higher on Steward.

DJ Steward- 35
Jakobe Koles-126
Luke Kasubke-142

Don’t see an offer yet, but the Ramblers hosted Keshawn Williams our of bloom.

Williams is a top 10 player in the state, I believe prep hoops Illinois has him ranked 3rd.

Verbal Commits reports we offered Max Murrell, a 6'9" lefty PF from Omaha. Watched a little video. He is skinny but skilled and can shoot out to the 3 point line. Can jump and has good anticipation for blocking shots. Has a slew of mid-major offers and within the past few days started getting offers from majors (Creighton, Nebraska and Virginia Tech) after blowing up at an AAU event. I noticed recently that he was being followed by several Rambler coaches.
This offer makes sense to me. We seem well stocked with guards but are a little light in the frontcourt.
