Hey Sub...What's the word on Stephen Hurt?
edit: Nevermind. I see he picked KSU.
He's who I was talking about. That one stings as most people in KS, outside of Manhattan, believe KSU is the 3rd best team in a state with only 3 DI teams.
From a quote awhile back though from Hurt, it sounds as if he didn't want to play on an uptempo team, and while we don't run and gun, we push when we can. Perhaps that was too much for him. Although if he wants to compete in the XII, there's going to be a lot of running as the top teams in that conference aren't afraid to push the ball.
Some WSU fans are now a little concerned as we thought we had Hurt wrapped up. With O'Mara, London and Sherman all going elsewhere, our list of offered bigs is dwindling and we have a huge need for at least two if not three post players in the class of '14. The best left is HaHa Lee out of Alabama, but few think he'll leave the state. I believe UAB, Bama and Auburn are all on his list.
Good news is it's October and basketball is just around the corner. Going to be a fun year.
