Weird timing, but overall not a surprise that he's gone. Always struck me as a good dude, but starting 1-7 in your 4th year is hard to defend. |

Looked at Drake athletics website. Former Rambler J.R. Blount is an assistant basketball coach. At least he is until the end of the season when a new coach takes over from interim coach Rutter. |
