I WENT AND HAD A GREAT TIME........YA ALL SHOULD GO NEXT YEAR EVEN IF YOU DONT GOLF.......SIT ON THE BALCONY HAVE A BEER....TALK WITH THE COACHES....STARE AT A BEAUTIFUL cALUMET Harbor. Almost all of the coaches were there ..tons of athletes...womens volleyball well represented.. tall bumch of girls. Sister JEan celebrated her 96th birthday. Verified that Milton Doyles shoulder is doing well but that he has had some minor dings but none of concern. Coach says he thinks the Valley has finally accepted the fact that the Ramblers can compete in all sports. Says next step is to fill the gym to get that competitive advantage. Shane Davis , mens volleyball coach got a nice hand. THe chicken wa.....well chicken. lots of maroon and gold.....got a free LU hat, always a plus.

found out that the reason the womens soceer team got clobbered is that several of the team did not play cuz theyhad yet to meet coaches fitness expectations.
Did I mention they had free beer? Good day to be a Rambler

I do not exactly get that. Was there a certain amount of miles they had to run in a certain time? If they are your best players I think it should be pretty hard to keep them off the field.

dont know exactly what the expectations were,,,,but set by the coach...So they only dressed 13 players for the exhibition match against Western Michigan
