Golf Outing info is out. It is AUgust 13th, Had a great time last year. There are lots of opportunities to interact with LU athletes. Last year there were athletes from almost all the teams there as well as the whole athletic department.. PM gave a nice talk and was very available to everyone. If you play golf it it a great golf course.(Harborside) Great views of the Chicago skyline. Lots of good beer, great silent auction . I got in a battle for a signed Stan Musial baseball winning at the buzzer...there was tons of Hawks and Cubs and White Sox stuff. Over all a great way to support LU athletics and I think if you want you dont have to play golf you can just smooze, eat and drink. Anyway I encourage you to go.

If Loyola really wanted to raise some money they would have a pie eating contest with Tom Kelly.

You would have to. The winning team last year "shot" a 48 (-24)...

Couple years ago I think that's what we scored (played with Clarence Red and Art McZier)...Klu carried the group and Clarence made every putt. Thought we did pretty well until we came in and saw somebody posted -22.

-24, so that's all birdies, eagles on all the par 5's, and eagle two par 4's? Wow.

Seems unlikely, doesn't it? I wonder if they purchased 300 ft of birdie string.

Usually to break -20 you have some sort of gimmick. A string or mully purchase. It also helps when you don't have to allocate drives to everyone in your foursome. A scratch golfer helps a ton.
