Here's your blowout, guys. Unbelieveable job on Wentz. A lot of court time for the young guys.

Excellent. Kennedy time!

Really proud of the young guys-- Peterson, Knuth, Richardson, Rajala, etc. were all impressive. Fingers crossed for Doyle to be able to play on Friday.

This might be one of our more impressive games, despite the competition. Ask Houston, Duquesne, Tulsa, and Sacramento State how easy it is to contain Wentz, and we did it without Doyle playing a minute of the second half. Really solid all around.

At one point at the end of the game, there was a "battle" for a rebound between four players listed at 5'7 5'9 5'11 and 6'0

Now we just pray that Doyle is ok.

I really like Knuth and Richardson as freshmen. PM seemed committed to using them tonight. We had subbed in our ninth player by the 14 minute mark of the first half or something crazy like that.

Well, these players of ours came to do just that --PLAY !! Great win against a team that had played others fairly well--losing to Houston by a tad.

Knuth and Rajala got good experience--Julius is long--Knuth appears to have some bulk--

Our boys were truly FAST this night--Their defense, speed and shooting will truly be a factor as we move along. The annoucers said we shot 65 % !! THAT is obscene.
Turk ignited big time--He is doing more than shooting threes . But 4 of those bad boys in first half flattened AC after they started so well.

One more game, then it gets heavy !!
GO RAMBLERS

Agree with you brot- our speed, athleticism and defense are real difference makers. Impressive 2nd half, especially without Doyle. Hopefully his injury isn't so serious that he misses an extended amount of time, but I wouldn't mind us resting him for Southern Utah. Reward some of the newbies with some more minutes. All of them certainly earned it. Even Rajala was making his case for more minutes going forward. Or PM could even use it as a game to reacclimate Jeff White to the starting lineup.

The good news is that we are one game away from moving past our putrid schedule. The exciting part is we'll start to see whether our team carries over how they've played for most of the noncon schedule to the Valley or whether this is a result from beating up on inferior opponents who can't handle our speed and athleticism

You know, I must agree that our schedule is NOT the best--not by a long shot--but if we look at most other teams on a night to night basis, we might see more of the same. The Mildkitties got beaten by Tenn-Martin --WHO ??? The Trib noted that already--No ,mention of the only winner in town this night.

I agree that Milton should sit Fri--or only play a tad. Our gang did not miss him against AC--Is it not fun to see us running and gunning ?? It surely helps to get the boards. Actually it is a new culture that is arriving !!!

Walk-on Eric Porter's open three had "Happy Birthday Brot!" written all over it.

You know, this game was a blow-out of course, but let us look at it as more than that.

--The boys shot over EIGHTY PER CENT in the second half--amazing !! This without our best player !!
--I do not care whom you beat--but by almost 40 points tells me something good is happening--
--They did everything well--a sign of a good team--What would have happened LAST YEAR ??
--Boards , speed, scoring, over seventy per cent from the line
--Total unselfishness all around--balance scoring . lots of assists and balanced boarding as well.

Being realistic, the Valley awaits --but I really feel we will handle it very well . We have a star, and unselfish team and we RUN !!

BTW , the Oxen are back in the barn !!!!
