Absolutely dominant. Great to see. And we actually shot the ball pretty poorly at 5-18 (27%). Welch was brilliant again on offense... Norris did really well against Sackey... and the Lucas/Tate/Aher combo locked down Clay. Also, it’s at the end of the game, but Paxsons been REALLY efficient late in games. Hutson needs to get in better shape, but he continues to look like someone who belongs.

Did anyone else catch the broadcast note that Coop’s still dealing with injury?

Pretty crazy that all six of our Valley wins have been by double digits. And four of our six Valley wins have been by 30+ points. Granted, those four wins were against likely Thursday teams, but that is pure domination.

Really excited for a big time test this weekend against the Braves. Quite the step up in competition.

I heard that on Coop too. Makes sense with the game he sat out earlier in the year.

Two straight wins where we hand our opponents their worst-ever MVC loss. UNI's worst conference loss was an 80-39 loss at Bradley on Feb. 5, 2000 by 41 points. Remember, for UNI, they were in the same conference with mighty Creighton and awesome Wichita State for 25 years. Valpo's worst conference loss in their short tenure in the league was also against Bradley, by 25 points.

Really hope Paxon sticks around. Tough spot he is in with all of the talented guards around him and the fact that the only true guard we lose is Clemons...plus adding Ty Johnson.

Hutson has the chance to be a REALLY good player. He has shown flashes of his potential. Continue to get in shape and working on the footwork with Krutwig...and keep that three point shot. Loved his block on Krikke at the end of the game.

It is crazy how incredibly deep we are this year. And even crazier to think how deep we will be next year, at least at the guard position. Norris, Kennedy, Kaifes, Hebb, Wojcik, Johnson. Little nervous about our bigs next year. We know Welch is a stud, but we will be relying on Frank/Hutson at the center position. Interested to see what Chris Knight can bring.

Only our best ever rating.

We have five home games left, and we'll be heavy favorites in all.

If we can go 3-3 on the road, we'll finish 14-4. Whether that wins the league probably depends on how Drake comes out of Covid.

Granted, if we keep up this play, we will do better than 3-3 in the roadies.

Loyola found their motivation after the pathetic loss at Indiana State. The team tried to play Wisconsin and Richmond before they found an identity. There's no use in complaining about unfair scheduling and Covid hiccups unless it motivates the team to compete full tilt, like every game is their last. I love the fact that the team has poured it on each and every game since that stupid ISU loss. As long as Loyola keeps up that focus and drive to smash and dominate the opposition, the Ramblers have a chance for wins in the NCAA tournament.

Redbirds up 11 on Bradley with 13:24 to go. Wow.

Bradley was boat raced by Illinois State. Lost by 15 and the game never felt close after the 10 minute mark. Crazy result.

This means one of two things:
1. Bradley really isn't that good, more of a middle of the pack team. The MVC title hunt is a three way race between Loyola, Drake and Missouri State.
OR
2. Bradley was overlooking ISU ahead to our games this weekend (always foolish but especially so against a rival). Now Bradley is pissed and hungry.

Admittedly, ISU was hitting shots all over. But Bradley looked pathetic on offense.
