Youth IS SERVED !!!
Well, the boys game through !! They are MATURING and maturing quick-like.

What can you say ?/ All heart. This is a tough league but we are starting to measure up . All the boys came through against a fine team.

Key stops. Key Hoops. MADE FREEBIES !!

It now appears that we can run with this League--Shockers excepted- Matter of time there.

Its getting to be common place to see Milton and Christian do their thing--But Jeff DID HIS JOB--Devon awakened at just the right time.

I must say Porter OUT-COACHED their guy--especially in OT.
GOOD ON OUR TEAM !!

GO RAMBLERS !!!

This was one of my favorite game I have ever been to. Great win for the team. They kept fighting the whole time and it paid off. I loved seeing Joe shoot more tonight and The doctor Milton Doyle just is an amazing player and couldn't be stopped in the end. Atmosphere was great tonight the place was loud. As a student I was pretty happy with our student section tonight. A lot of new faces and full of life. I'm hoping more will start showing up after a great game like that.

When other guys who were at the game write their opinions--maybe someone can report on what UNI Coach was railng to the Refs about when one of his players knocked Joe's contact lens out. I trust he was not being a jerk---about the time it took to fix Joe's eye. Anybody ???

In any case as others have said, he was superb--took matters into his hands when it was needed.

Defensively ? Well, the team played OFFENSE to win--but the D did come up big a couple of key times-- All in all not so much--BUT the fact remains NINETY PLUS POINTS --WUNDERBAR !!!

Milton ?? The Doctor ?? I love it--He was truly a surgeon out there !!

Great game !!

Maybe SUB can advise about the UNI Coach !

Another question--Did you like the game gal ?? Hang in there --First of many to come.

I'm not sure what Ben was talking about. I'm trying to remember what happened before that and wonder if he was asking about a foul/contact or something. Jacobson is a pretty good guy and well respected. I doubt he was complaining about the contact situation.

I was in the student section and noticed that too. It was hard to tell but I think he was getting on him about it being called a foul but I'm my exactly sure.

wore my LU jacket to shovel the snow drifts just so the neighbors could see......specially the one that went to Depaul.
As I was watching the game today it came to me that again they saw an offense and defense they hadnt seen before . It seems like every game is a different experience. They will be getting better and better. Milton Doyle is the TRUTH
GO RAMBLERS

Thanks Sub-- Good to read what you said--I am sensitive as coming from the HL, we had a Coach or two that were weird , to say the least. Hence my comment.

Green Bush , anyone ?? Lordy, I am glad we are out of there.

What a game! This team battled. UNI was hitting 3 pointer and we never packed it in. In the 2nd half, we'd get close and they'd pull away. Great to see the Ramblers finish!

Couple of thoughts:

1. Not happy with the officiating. They did not call a consistent game. Additionally, Tuttle was getting away with offensive fouls ALL game. He continued to push off with his forearm. Not once did they call a foul.
2. We hit our free throws! See what a difference that can make? I don't think we'll have many games making 92% from the line, but I am loving it!
3. We held our own on the boards. Sure, we were killed on the offensive glass, but we got one more board than them.
4. Great crowd! Maybe this shows that the scheduling is the problem. Most folks can make Thursday/Saturday. Wednesday/Sunday is NOT favorable.
5. Not happy with the student turnout, but those that did show up made noise. Always great to see those that show up working hard for the team. It really does make the difference.
6. This was said on the Panther board "You know you're crap when you need overtime to beat UNI in your gym. Who let loyola in the valley." Sour grapes much?

Was great to see Rog and Swella after the game. Hoping they don't go back into hiding!

Now that I have settled down a bit--
It was apparent that 63 did his homework--The visitors were pretty much what he wrote they were--A three point machine for one thing. It was scary.

But as Go says we hung in there and battled--Hoping that the Guys from Corn Country scan this--They hung in and Choked. A real hang job. Cripes they had control all game except when the chips were on the table. We were better when it counted. Porter was pure especially in OT.

My suspicious mind has been searching for whiners--same as Butler when we would beat them--at their place--I guess these folks are it--Maybe ??

We are new to this League--will take time to catch on--BUT we do have talent to do so, sooner now then later.

Hope the crowds now start increasing as they did today.

As an aside, have you noticed that little by little Devon is expanding his offensive game--Hee is learning--Maybe the D will come soon.
