This plan by Rahm is pure folly. Jerry Reinsdorf and Rocky Wirtz, who own the United Center, are livid at Rahm over this. If DePaul can't get their students and dwindling number of fans to go out to Rosemont, what makes them thing they'll go to the South Loop? Reinsdorf and Wirtz offered DePaul a ten-year rent free lease to play at the UC, and they turned it down!
