rebound, you better have more scoring.
As much as I like Crisman for all of the intangibles he brings to the game, when you lose by ten or more and are badly outrebounded, you need more scoring.
It is obvious that Osborne is not progressing as we had hoped or anticipated. When you start O'Leary and Thomas you are going to be outrebounded, so you need more scoring.
I would start Johnson, O'Leary, White, Doyle and Thomas. Either O'Leary or Johnson can hit the 3 ball which would open up the lane for Doyle and White to drive in and at least draw some fouls if not set up the 3 point play. Johnson's sheer size would create more rebound opportunities for Thomas. O'Leary should also be freed up to shot more from the outside. He actually is a very good outside shooter and is played out of position down low.
I would then bring, London, Osborne, Nixon and Crisman off the bench. Also Turk needs more minutes. He shot lights out in NY last week in limited time.
That's my two cents worth.
Yes, we lost and it was not as bad as everyone feared but I do not see moral victories either in the standings or the RPI rankings.
We are young and not as good as we thought we would be but the future does hold some promise.
